Assignment, How We Love You
I love ranting, ranting is awesome. Pouring your hearts out to something or someone is good for both your physical health and your mental health.
Well, judging by the date, it is now easter! Asides from the religious implication of the day, alot of
people love easter. It is a time to gather with families (oh and my parents are here on holiday) , it is a time of relaxation, and for uni students, a time to get away from hectic uni life. Im sure everyone will enjoy this break and will utilize it to their personal enjoyment.
But not Monash, oh no no no, Monash has ways to fark up your oh-so-enjoyable holiday.
Enter MKF 3141 -Issues in Competitive Advantage. Enter the assignment. While it seems that its a normal assignment, research about a company in a certain industry. And then analyze its competitive capabilities using models that have been studied so far. Now normally in a normal condition, especially its a group assignment, we could just meet up easily and then finish it on time. Or if its not a group assignment, I can blitz through it in less than a day (its only a 1,500 essay).
But no...Monash wants it due by next wednesday, in less than 3 days. That's right ladies and gentleman, it is due DURING the break. Oh and the SAME subject, also wants a tutorial work done the FOLLOWING DAY. So not only did Monash wants to fuck with
us once, they decided in their infinite wisdom to fark the students TWICE. The fact that it is a group assignment didn't do justice at all. Because you know why? We have to meet up DURING THE BLOODY BREAK to actually work on the farking assignment!
Now I dont mind assignments, I dont mind group assignments, I dont mind meeting for group assignments, I dont mind having to waste a few hours of my weekends to finish an assignment. But to have one during the break, Monash, you're kidding me.
Here's to Monash - who obviously doesn't like students having fun.

2 Years in a Quick Glance
Special note : This is actually written at 4:17 am, shows how much my mind wonders about
during this time of the day.
Oh wow, I farked my attempt in blogging. And yes, it has been TWO YEARS since I last updated
my blog. I was just "o_o" when looking at my previous post.
Quick recap over the past two years, I have moved to Melbourne to complete my education in
Monash University. Studying Business majoring in Marketing. Through the yays and the woes
of university life I have survived through uni and now in the (hopefully) final year of my degree.
Throughout these last two years, I have made friends and some enemies (well not enemies per say, rival or mutual friendship might be the best word). I have met some interesting person, some people who until this very day never cease to amaze me, I have met some less interesting people, who might be added to the 'ignored' list. But oh do mind my double entendre, for never cease to me can also be taken in a negative perspective.
One interesting thing to note during these year is MCAC. My home, my passion, my dedication.
I could rant a whole lot about MCAC (which i will do after this one). MCAC is basically a university student club, its main focus are anime. Anime - as you all is my passion. Therefore this club has been a part of my life, and I will continue to be a part of it.
Study wise, I have been doing ok-ish. Nothing really to write home about. Parents have been complaining about my result, which they deemed to be average - I couldnt agree more. I never failed a unit, I was never close to failing a unit. If everything goes well, I should be graduating by the end of this year. Although I might consider staying one more year for honors. But that's another story.
Living alone is awesome. I don't care how many people complained about it, it is the most interesting experience which I thanked both of my parents that I get a chance to participate in one.
Well, that's it. A quick recap is quick. I find it hilarious that you can sum up a person's life
for two years. All those stories, all those interesting things, in just less than 5 paragraphs.
That is me in a nutshell.
Oh and happy easter everyone, I don't like the ideas of hunting for eggs.
I just buy them, and eat it all myself.

Update update
iya iya, gw tahu, im a lazy ass bastard that doesn't want to update his blog.
So, disaat2 seperti ini, gw kasih update an deh hidup gw apa kabarnya. Well, not like anyone's gonna read it, but that's the whole point of a blog XD.
1. Gw punya pacar [yay!] [[Loh loh van, beberapa post sebelomnya khan]]
Ah shut up, iya, this one....it looks like the one. Tapi tunggu ya, kita resminya baru beberapa bulan lagi. im not gonna tell you who...or what...but you shall see :D
2. Beberapa hari lagi gw ujian math
Kampret, subjek penderitaan gw kembali lagi menghantui gw....dalam bentuk kalkulus, oh dewa matematika di luar sana, tolong bantuin saya dalam menghadapi ujian ini T_T.
3. Oh oh, bntar lagi gw cabut loh
Iya, ga penting ya, biarin. tanggal 14 februari (ZOMG valentine) gw cabut. See you jakarta, hello melbourne.
Ok deh, next post gw bakal tar di melbourne, see ya all.

Update
Oh wow...gw cupu abis deh, katanya janji2 mau update blog...nyeh.
So anyways, here's an update in my life so far:
1. Girlfriend
Oh yes, ladies and gentleman, i am officially not single anymore! Hohoho, and when this is written, dalam 3 hari lagi, we will celebrate our 1 month anniversary. Penasaran khan siapa? Cek facebook gw deh, under Evandra Tamzil, tar lo langsung liat gw in a relationship with who. But hey, wish me luck for the next months. Especially we will be long distancing pretty soon.
2. Campus Life
I pass 'em all! Yay! Credits for law and marketing, and Distinction for statistics and macroeconomics. And with an average score of 69.70 (still a bit low, but good enough by my standards), it allows me to enter into Caulfielf Campus. So what this mean is (selain gw nganggur selama effectively 4 bulan), masa depan gw di Australia terjamin. Hello, future me!
3. Blog blog
So i realize, ini mungkin just a small fraction of my life, but hey, like any other creations this one would be taken care of. Picking off with my craze for anime and the likes, me and my friends decided to make an anime blog review. It's not the best anime review out there, but it's made by yours truly, so it's worth a look.

4. 4 months break
Yeah, pardon the pun. So then, i'll be out of commission for at least 4 months. Me now is my otaku mode, well, i'll probably find some part time jobs or internships by november. And i need to toughen up my physique, so i don't look to shabby. And also this 4 months, time for extended rest and relax.
So then, begitulah kurang lebih update gw dari post terakhir sampai saat ini. Basi abis ga sih? Ya udahlah. Until then.

Vandar=Evandra
When they say that the first DnD character reflect who you really are in nature. I guess it's true for me in a sense.
Vandar is an elf, living in a seclusive clan in the depths of Arcania Sanctum, far from the technological and the main cities in the country. At home, he always felt alone, he trusts no one, not even his families, and he has little or no close friends. His parents always urges him to do something against his will, mainly in terms of education and self perfection. His parents acknowledged themselves as the so call perfect being, and always pesters Vandar to be just like them.He loathed them, disliking them in every possible way. Vandar's only close relative is his sister, whom he can share with and talk to, and be a friend as well in times of needs.
Eventually Vandar left home, without notice and went on a journey by himself. He found friends, who would later become the slayers. And only in that group, can he felt true friendship.
Me? I don't know, i'll let you be the judge.

13- an omen, a wake up call
They say that the number 13 is a number shrouded with mystery and is regarded as a harbinger of bad luck. I am a man of logic, therefore i do not believe in urban legends and lores. However the date 13 today, brings a new definition of bad luck to me.
All in all i have never fail anything in my life, failure is not an option in my dictionary. Sure, if we were to look at my track records from back when i was at junior high i always have a weakness on a certain subject (and the trend is mathematics from time to time). And that track record of mine shows the connection between me and mathematics is like superman to krypton. It was, is and will be my bane.
I got a slight breath of fresh air when i entered college, no more mathematics! Yay! my weakness for once and for all is eliminated. Oh but my cries of joy were about to be cut short, for mathematics has ways in which it embodies itself. In the form of accounting.
I'll admit it now, accounting is not as bad as mathematics. No abstract formulas, no complicated counting and such. However it demanded a great deal of focus and concentration as well as diligence and accuracy. Overall, it demanded a lot of logic power.
Doesn't seem to strike me as a krypton. But my brain has a funny way of reacting to stuffs, once exposed to something that it thinks it would not use in the next stage of my life, it will shut out immediately to that subject, shutting down all abilities to study. And for me accounting is something that i would not use.
What all this has got to do with the number 13? Well, today my accounting assignment and my practice exam's score has just been distributed. And guess what ladies and gentleman, i was this close to failing the assignment, because the oh-so-mighty accounting teacher has decided that every assignment must have a hurdle of 50, less than that and you will fail the assignment, thus failing the whole unit altogether.
What does this mean to me? now, i have another problem up my sleeve. Thank god i do not have any difficulties in the other subject, but my grades are not brilliant as well. My main target is passing this college with an average of 65, which enabled me to go to Caulfield, one of the more prestigious campus of Monash in Australia.
With a quick calculation, in order for me to not fail the subject AND get an average of at least 65 in the subject, my final examination mark should be 73, period.
As my oh-so-brilliant track record has proven, i always limped along the way, but in the end it is always a satisfying mark. Therefore, i hope my brain can lift away the stigma that it has and to study like a madman for the upcoming exam.
I will not fail, i have to much at stake if i fail.
